Key Responsibilities:

As a member of the Investment Risk & Control (“IRC”) team, you will play a vital role in the risk management of the Bank’s high-performing Point-of-Sale Financing division, the largest and fastest growing product offering of the Bank.

In this role, you will be expected to utilize your credit risk analysis, documentation review, transaction processing, audit, and analytical skills to ensure fundings meet the Bank’s established eligibility criteria and risk appetite.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Participate in the Receivable Purchase Program funding audit cycle with particular emphasis on credit and documentation review ensuring adherence to approved policies and parameters.
  • Identify and flag contracts included in a purchase request that do not meet the eligibility requirements of the program and escalate issues to the respective parties.
  • Provide clear and concise summaries of audit findings and recommendations to senior staff within the IRC group.
  • Maintain detailed records and follow-up to resolve any deficiencies noted.
  • Monitor exposures within each Seller’s program to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure funding and/or credit packages are complete.

You will need to multi-task, manage competing priorities, and follow up with audit findings and recommendations as required to ensure duties are completed on time. This position will appeal to someone who thrives in a team-based, fast-paced environment, is highly organized, manages their time effectively and possesses superior analytical skills.

Qualifications:

  • Business degree or related post-secondary education and / or relevant work experience.  
  • 3 years’ experience in a similar or related role.
  • Experience and understanding of US and CAD securitization and leasing would be an asset.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, and ability to learn new systems.
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail, time management skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and business communications skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and sound judgement to independently problem solve.
